Hon Mirin

Introduction

Mirin is a type of rice wine with a common ingredient in Japanese cooking. It is similar to sake but with a lower alcohol content and higher sugar content.

Why Us

There are two types of mirin are common. One is hon mirin, which alcohol will between 13.5%-14% and if produces by a 40 to 60 day saccharification process; the other type is mirin fu, which contains less than 1% alcohol or even no alcohol.
